I could never have imagined 2+ years ago what a wonderful father you would turn out to be. The kids love their daddy and your love for them (and for me) is so obvious. I can't thank you enough for being my love, my life, and the devoted father of our two beautiful children. I love you!

Birthday Party (Sesame Street)

2 Years Old - Visit to the Pediatrician...
Well, as most of you know, the boys turned 2 this past Sunday. We're having their birthday party this weekend, so I'll have lots of good pictures to post by Sunday night.
John: John remains our sweet, mind-mannered boy. He has a lot of questions that he just cant seem to put into words that come out more like "uhhhhh????"...we know he's just full of questions that any minute will come spilling out. John says many words and makes most all the animal sounds. John is also very good with his shapes and colors (blue and red are the ones he knows well). He's very mechanical and loves to figure out how things work. He enjoys taking things apart and putting them back together. He is obsessed with bubbles and play-doh. John will sometimes purposefully get a boo-boo (will bump himself very softly) just for a kiss and cuddle. At age 2, John is 75th %ile for both height and weight...he's 30.8 pounds and 36 inches tall.
Ethan: Ethan remains our wild child. He is full of hugs and kisses, but also loves to cause mischief. He loves a good game of chase above all else. One of his favorite things is to ride on the lawnmower with Daddy...every time they finish and he has to come in the house, he screams and has a huge fit. Ethan can always be found with bruised shins, as he runs into things and falls on a regular basis :). He says "hi" to all people and animals that we pass in the car or out and about. He is very social and is also very good with his animal sounds. He also loves the kisses and cuddles when he gets a boo-boo. At age 2, Ethan is 95th-100th %ile for both height and weight...he's 33.4 pounds and 37 inches tall.
To our bubbas...we cannot believe how fast you are growing up and what big boys you are. Where have the past 2 years gone? It seems like just yesterday we were bringing you home from the hospital trying to figure out what to do next. You are the joy of our lives and we are so proud of the sweet, big boys you have become. We love you very much!
