Our Family...February, 2008

OUR FAMILY

John and Ethan have just passed the 21 month mark and are quickly approaching their 2nd birthday in May. They are truly the joy of our lives...

ETHAN TIMOTHY

Ethan is our youngest by under 1 minute and is our "wild thing". He is named after his Grandpa Tim and is one big ball of energy. His personality is also a lot like his Grandpa's.

Ethan has mommy and Grandpa's green/hazel eyes and light brown hair. Ethan also has the Adams family stocky build. He will grow up to be a big boy (over 3 feet tall and 33 1/2 pounds).

He loves to dance, jump, climb, twirl in circles and be chased. He is very social and loves everybody. He gives bear hugs and Eskimo kisses (rubbing noses together) - he almost broke mama's nose the other day when he got a little too excited about giving me an Eskimo kiss.

Ethan loves daddy above all others...he loves to wrestle and play rough and daddy is all too happy to oblige. Ethan is such a sweet, tender hearted boy and, lately has been spotted giving brother (John) many hugs.

JOHN ADAM

John (the oldest by a whole 1 minute or less) is such a sweet, loving boy. He is named after his Grandpa John (Jason's Dad) who we know would have loved our boys and would have been thrilled to be a Grandpa (Daddy sure misses him)!

John has his Great Grandpa Ken's beautiful blue eyes and hints of his Grandma's red hair (John's is more of a strawberry blonde than a true red).

We think John may become an engineer because he loves to work on projects (leggos, stacking blocks, helping to clean up). He is very interested in "figuring out how things work" and amazes us on a daily basis of the things he can figure out how to get into (twisting tight caps off jars, lotion, etc.). He is so interested, in fact, in getting into things, we've already called Poison Control twice when he ate lotion once and another time at diaper cream. He is very focused and polite (saysand signs please and thank you most of the time). He loves to swim, splash his brother in the bathtub and squeal and scream at ear-piercing decibels...we think he just likes to test his voice. He also loves BALLS....footballs, baseballs, basketballs, nurf balls, tennis balls....he's destined for sports. He plays with his new t-ball set daily. He can also throw one heck of a tantrum (thumping head on the floor, the whole nine yards)!

TO BOTH OF OUR BABY BEARS...WE LOVE YOU VERY MUCH AND
FEEL SO PROUD AND BLESSED TO BE YOUR PARENTS!!
