Never Want to Forget...

I was inspired by a friend's blog about things we never want to forget about the boys (they will be 3 next month):

- How Ethan gives big bear hugs and “soap opera” kisses with his eyes closed
- When John said to mommy “I have a weaner and you wear make-ups” (the way he distinguishes between boys and girls)
- How Ethan LOVES to be outside and search through the dirt for “wormies”
- How John throws major temper tantrums over such minor things
- How Ethan is such a snuggler in bed
- How John loves certain books…Green Eggs and Ham, Missing Dinosaur Bone are his favorites
- How John is OBSESSED with the movie and book The Grinch that Stole Christmas
- How the boys talk about “knuckle-sandwiches” whenever the subject of Grandpa comes up, only they pronounce it “knuckle-sambitch” (too funny)
- How Ethan says the word “owchie” whenever he wants attention (even when not hurt)
- How Ethan says the word “poopie” whenever he wants us to run upstairs during naptime
- How when John got mad at mommy, he said “momma, you a boy”
- How Ethan is so expressive and how hysterical it is when he looks at you out of the corner of his eyes
- How John’s eyes are precisely the blue color of my Grandpa Johnson’s
- How excited the boys get if we take them to Donald’s for chicken nuggies
- How the boys end up in each other’s beds together almost every night
- How excited John gets when he is praised for anything
- How big Ethan smiles for pictures (so big that he closes his eyes and gives his best cheesy grin)

I also never want to forget that just looking at our boys makes me love Jason more than ever.

Easter & Easter Bunny Discussions with John

Mommy: What does the Easter Bunny bring on Easter?
John: Candy!

Mommy: He also brings chocolate...
John: Mmmm...that would be good (mommy chuckles)

Mommy: How big do you think the Easter Bunny is?
John: (glances from side to side, thinks a few moments, then)... that a good question momma

We had a great weekend. We visited the Seattle Aquarium on Saturday, rode the carousel and had fish and chips for lunch on the waterfront. On Sunday, the kids were thrilled with their easter baskets, I cooked a yummy brunch (if I do say so myself) and we had dinner at Jason's mom's house. Daddy took lots of good pics, so those will be posted soon. Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!
