Tickle Bug Strikes Again

Snow in March...what the heck!

Here is a picture of the snow in our front yard Friday. Wednesday night, we got 7 inches of snow in Enumclaw, which is the most of any cities around us! Such strange weather in the Pacific Northwest for this time of year. The disappointing part was that the snow was so wet that it wasn't really good for playing in with the kids. The boys both did a lot of watching the "nooooo" (aka "snow") out the window. Seems like 7 inches of snow at the end of March must be one for the record books. Global warming...huh???

Silly John & Elton John (Ethan)

We finally got a picture of John sticking his tongue out to the side. He's been doing this a lot lately both when he's concentrating and when he's just trying to be silly (we laugh at him when he does it, so we're pretty sure he loves that attention). He totally gets this from Daddy, who does the same thing when he's concentrating. What a silly boy!

Happy Birthday Cooper (& Auntie Holly too)

Holly (my sister) and our nephew Cooper came to visit us this weekend from Las Vegas. While they visited, we had an early 1st birthday party for Cooper (his actual birthday isn't until April 4th). Cooper was ate a ton of cake and made a huge mess...it was so cute!

The boys loved playing with Cooper (who they call "baby" and "baby duck"). Since they left on Sunday, the boys are constantly asking "baby? baby?" and running to the door of the bedroom they stayed in and pounding on the door (they are sure he's still in there).

We had such a fun visit! Happy birthday Holly too (March 23rd)!

Mom's Having a Bad Monday...

OK...so, I seem to be starting off my week on a bad note. We had a great weekend with the boys and this morning they were a little more clingy than normal when I left for work. I felt badly and told them to "go to the window so Mommy can wave bye-bye to you". So...they went to the window, I started my car and started to back out of the driveway while waving to them and smiling my biggest, cheesiest grin. That was about the time I plowed into our nanny's car (parked behind me) and the kiddos were my audience....CRAP! I totally cracked apart her license plate cover, but apparently did no other damage. Luckily, she was very sweet about it. Argh...this is NOT a good start to the week!!!

Sunday at the Park

Mommy and Daddy took the boys to the park today. We all had a great time swinging, going down the slide, kicking the socker ball on the Basketball court and then going for a walk in the stroller. Ethan loved the slide and John couldn't get enough of the swinging.
